Rodin Audio

The Rodin project came to me through East Bank Communications Group. They provided the artistic design and I recreated their Photoshop comps using standards compliant XHTML/CSS. This project actually consisted on this corporate site, plus 3 cd-rom based sites that were distributed to their dealer network.
Zupan's Markets

Zupan's site is a fairly straightforward XHTML/CSS site, with a bit of Flash used for good measure. Working closely with their design team, I was able to create a standards complaint site that was true to their design, no matter what modern browser its viewed on.
Magneto Brand Advertising

Magneto's site is primarily a Flash driven site featuring streaming Flash video, streaming Flash audio (including a custom audio meter) and a simple, XML-driven content management system. This site is an excellent example of how paraDIMES LLC can partner with your graphic design team to create a highly functional web site that harmonizes with your company's design philosophy and style.

This site uses PHP to dynamically generate much of what you, from the menus and thumbnails to resampling (NOT resizing) the main images. My goal was to display Mr. Lee's images in a manner that put full emphasis on the images while the site's framework allowed for easy access to his many collections. It also incorporates paraDIMES LLC's custom shopping cart solution, using PayPal to process online payments.
Robert Evans Company

Robert Evans Company needed their current site to be reworked with a fresh new layout. Using a provided artist's comp, I built their site using XHTML and CSS to create a clean design that makes better use of available screen real estate.
City of Happy Valley, Oregon

This site uses Wordpress as a Content Management System, in conjunction with a basic PHP MVC framework to create an easy, dynamic web presence for the City of Happy Valley. Custom calendar and document archival applications allow for the many departments to independently publish information, while having it displayed to visitors in a unified, relevant format.

This site uses XHTML & CSS to create a clean, visually appealing site to demonstrate SucraSEED, a new range of products from Grassland, Oregon. This project was an assignment from East Bank Communications.
Royal Bearing, Inc.

Royal was interested in a clean website, which would put their name and contact information on the internet, while providing a solid framework for future work to develop within. Currently, you can sign-up to receive e-mail newsletters and submit online request for sales quotes via e-mail.
DogWoods Boarding Kennel

DogWoods needed a site that would reflect the quality of their newly create facilities located in
the hills of North Georgia. Problem was, they needed it yesterday. Despite the long distance, our
collaboration was quick and easy via e-mail and phone.
Rhino Tools

Rhino Tools has grown from a unique idea into a full service supplier of top quality masonry
tools. As their product line has grown, so has their site. What started as a Flash-only site
has grown to include a low-bandwidth HTML version. Each tool section features a space-optimized
catalog-styled layout.
Woodstock Neighborhood Association

This site is a volunteer collaboration with Besaro
web works. This is an informational site serving the Woodstock district of Portland, Oregon. It
features an e-mail notification service and public message board.

Mr. Rubens' site utilize a mixture of Flash and HTML/CSS. The image galleries feature clever
animation tricks that build on the theme of the gallery.

This site is a pure Flash site with an interesting animation in the senior portrait section.
Engle Dental Systems

Engle's site is the most comprehensive of all the sites I've worked on, with over 20 product
pages each of which feature a means of requesting product literature online. There is also
an intuitive interface for interacting with sales representative and techical support data.
My web design and development philosophy is simple: Build web sites that people can use. What is the point of creating a site that is visually stunning, but impossible to figure out? Whether your site is strictly a brochure site, advertising your products and services, an online e-commerce store, allowing 24/7 access to your products, or a personal site, publishing your views for the world to read, if people can't figure it out, they'll move on.
My process in creating your web site is highly collaborative.
- Research - I start by meeting with you and profiling your organization. Your web site is an extension of your organization, so for it to be effective, I must seek to understand what you are all about. I will also examine your current advertising efforts to determine how your web site can be effectively integrated.
- Design - Next I will create a variety of mockups to provide you with a choice of how your site will look and feel. If you already have a design that you want to go with, that is great too. We'll work with you to create a design that fits your organization and its offerings.
- Development - Once the look and feel are available, we will work together to establish what features and content you want your web site to include. This is truly the most important part of the process. This is where your web site becomes useful and we will make certain of that.
- Manufacturing - At this point, I will be holed up in the studio, hand-crafting your web site. I strictly code by hand, rather than using Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Those programs have their place, but I insist on knowing every letter of the code, giving me complete control in crafting your site to your specifications
- Quality Control - This function is actually constantly being applied to all phases of the development. During Manufacturing, you will be able to view the progress being made via a private address. This will allow us to dynamically revise the site to meet your specifications. Also, I will run your site through various validation and analysis tools to ensure that the code and content are error-free.
- Production - Once the site has been fully inspected and approved by you, we will move it to its production server for the world to see, use and enjoy.
- Advertising - Along the way, we can work with you in getting the word out about your site. This can include registering your site with the major search engines, distributing your URL on your existing literature, and creating custom advertising which specifically notes your site's launch.
- Closing the Loop - After the site's launch, we help you evaluate the site's effectiveness and pinpoint areas where improvements could be made. This goes back to our philosophy; if people can't use your site effectively, then our job is not done.
Our singular purpose is to create and maintain a site is an extension of your organization,
effectively communcating your offerings to your audience.
